"Deceptive Quoting - SHOP AT YOUR OWN RISK!! I was shopping for insurance about 2 months ago when I decided to give my local State Farm agent a try (I guess I finally saw enough Patrick Mahomes commercials). My Allstate insurance had just notified me that the home policy was increasing over $500 annually and I felt it was a good time to see if I was getting a good deal. NJM, Geico, and Progressive could not do better than my Allstate pricing. Then I called the team at Bill Rawlings State Farm. They were able to quote me much lower on the home and even a little bit less on my auto policies as well! During the quoting process, they asked about accident history. I said, "Yes my wife has one accident about 2 years ago." They then asked, "Well what happened?" I said, "She backed into our garage door, but it was enough damage that we used our insurance to get the car fixed." This was all the same information I had provided all the other agencies. Didn't think anything of it at the time and ended up purchasing a new home and auto policy. Two weeks go by, and then I get an EMAIL from State Farm stating my first monthly payment is coming due. The payment is WAY higher than what was originally quoted. I go to the app because it must be a mistake. However, when I open up my policies, the auto has jumped over $400 on the 6-month premium!! I call Bill's office immediately. It takes multiple calls and messages left to finally get a call back from Bill. He says that underwriting "found" something that caused the rate to increase. I said they couldn't have "found" anything because I told you all about all accidents. Bill then states, "Well we submitted your wife's incident as an 'other' because it was just property damage, but underwriting must have deemed it an accident. We just submitted the information in the most favorable way for you." What I was never able to get Bill or his team to understand is I didn't want a FAVORABLE quote, I wanted an HONEST quote. Had he and his team been HONEST from the beginning, I NEVER would have bought State Farm insurance. So instead I had to go through the entire process with a separate broker, AGAIN. However I made sure to use an agency that underwrites the policy BEFORE you buy it!! Additionally, Bill will never respond via email. You can't get his email, only his team's email addresses. I ask for email responses and he always calls. It also took State Farm over TWO WEEKS to process the cancellation of the policies when I secured my new insurance. Learn from me, don't waste your time, money, or sanity. Look elsewhere!!"

"It all started with a phone call. We were looking to get Homeowner's insurance, and with a few short questions, Dee had all the missing information we couldn't provide all ready and filled in a quote for us to review based on the numbers we wanted. She was extremely friendly, polite, and knowledgeable. Took the time to go over every detail we had questions about and explained everything. She also showed us a quote for combining our car, which gave both a nice discount on the premiums. We were greeted with smiles as we walked in the office, and met Bill, and Dee in person. Fabulous people!"

"What a great group of people at the Bill Rawlings State Farm location. We had a great experience a few years back when my wife and I transferred our auto and renters insurance to Bill's agency. Bill was a pleasure to deal with and made our visit very comfortable. I had an equally pleasurable experience on 7/27/22 when I called and spoke to Brianna in regards to starting our homeowners policy. Brianna was very professional and thoroughly answered all my questions. She was very positive and even took the time to confer with Bill about a question I had in regards to a rental property. "I m totally unsatisfied with the service they provide. I talked to them to start my auto insurance and charged me the price. He convinced me for taking their renters policy along with auto policy saying it’s a bundle package. When I talked to the customer care later today they said I’m only being charged of renters policy but not the auto policy."

"My longtime State Farm agent (agency) retired/closed after 30 years. I went looking for another local option & found Bill (also a State Farm agent).
